MsMarisol2023 You caught him with his second family! Put a note on his collar and introduce yourself...I would love to have a neighbor/cat sitter for when I travel.
  • 04
Deadanddugup OP He doesn't have a collar unfortunately (we gave up after he lost 12 in 2 weeks) but I'm considering putting a note through the letterbox

sawry1 Why wouldn't you just knock on the door and ask for your cat back?
  • 07
Deadanddugup OP I tried! No one responded in through a cat flap we suspect he got

    Wallace-N-Gromit Should have confronted him
  • 16
Deadanddugup OP I believe the conversation was: Me: You don't live here! Get out! Cat: Warm house nice food good windowsill for napping.
  • 17
Dungeon Peaches Did you get him back? It's bugging me not to know, lol. I assume that the pic at home is after you saw them at the other house...
  • 18
Deadanddugup OP We did! He just showed up a couple hours later and jumped through an open window. Guess he just felt like visiting elsewhere

eddylet keep your cat inside. otherwise it might not come home someday :(
  • 21
Deadanddugup OP He's a retired farm cat and unfortunately keeping him inside causes immense stress (he literally starts pacing back and forth and biting himself) but most of the time he's safely enclosed in our fenced off garden, and we live in a generally very quiet area. Thank you for your concern though! <3

redditfellatesceos One of the many reasons you shouldn't have an outdoor cat.

Deadanddugup OP I hope that stranger likes cat hair on their curtains
